Bionersis was created in 2005, the year in which environmental questions became imperative with the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol. The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) was initiated under the supervision of the UN in favour and support of green technology investments in developing countries including those in Latin America and Asia where most emissions from landfills are traditionally untreated.
Since 2005, Bionersis has been a pioneering and innovative company in landfill gas valorization. The company has developed an efficient industrial tool answering current environmental challenges related to landfill biogas. Based on a team of multicultural staff, Bionersis has been able to become a global player integrating local problems to its activities.
Frédéric Pastre, Chairman and CEO
Frédéric Pastre is in charge of business development and global partnerships.
Before he co-founded Bionersis, Frédéric Pastre directed investments in the Suez group in Asia and participated to the development of a number of companies in South-East Asia.
Nicolas Heuzé, Deputy CEO
Nicolas Heuzé manages global group operations and financial activities. Before joining Bionersis, he was financing director for a number of international enterprises, including Earth Decision Sciences, which specializes in petroleum technologies.
Pascal Voisin, Regional Director, Asia
Based in Malaysia, Pascal Voisin is in charge of the identification and development of projects for Bionersis in Asia. He has been involved in the environmental sector for 25 years, including 9 years in Asia where he developed two modern landfills in Hong Kong, which are still in operation to this day.
Guy Aubertin, Head of industrial development and Regional Director, Latin America
Specializing in waste treatment and valorization, Guy Aubertin will use his expertise to help Bionersis? industrial and commercial development, and improve the group?s performance, in particular as regards the production of energy from biogas, phase II of the group?s deployment strategy.
